After the races Nicke was doing in IS SM was the plans to get my car ready for race again . And to day have I made a Notificaion that I is to be driving the race's in the event called norrlandsveckan 9 to 17 of July. And it can also be that I driving the 2 races in the champion ship.My engine is not ready for use, so we take Nickes engine and install it into my chassi. It is more then time to use it again it have been standing in work shop since 1999, the year passing by. It should be fun I burning now, for buckle up and run

28-10-10 New technical regulations is implemented and the maximum weight of the car is now set to 1150 kg driver excluded this have already forced the Champion Fredrik Tiger to sell his car due to he can use it anymore. And a lot of drivers with him is in same position. We are included also. So please raise our voices and let SBF be announced of your opinion. Now is the first race only 25 hrs away. tomorrow is the DM race on Skelleftea MS track. And it should be interesting to se how the car and driver is handle this race. During the winter have modification been done on front axle geometri and finaly is a brand new gear shift rack onboard. So now is gear shifting without jamning

Rebuilding and adjustment carried out after the race in Skelleftea
gear linkage is adjusted and feel's working normal again, Why the engine was not deliver in the last race was found, and hopfully solved. the scavair cooler is replaced with a new and bigger one. adjustment of fuel mixture depending of engine temp is re adjusted.

Now is it time for race again for Nicke.
It is planed to be on the grid during SM race on saturday 11-07 at Skelleftea motorstation.
During the winter and the spring have the engine been out for control and adjustment. The rpm range until power peak is over is now increased by 1500 prm. And A gearcut system is installed for eliminate clutch use during gear changes. first start up
The aft suspension and rear axle linkage have been totaly rebuilt, the last version was not a sucess. now is a 4-Link type installed.

After some turbocharger modifications carried out during the last weeks have nickes engine become more userfriendy and give a more constant torgue and power curve. so now is the plan to overhoul the engine before next season. And then will we se how it stand in compering to other cars.

Hello race report fro Sundsvall
Once again have the fortune turned the back to us.
Every thing was great during loading on friday afternoon. But when the race started on saturday was the engine completely changed. at start rpm was 0.9 bar of scavening air pressure missing. So the output was like on a bicycle, and at 6000 l/min was everything over.
To the race on sunday was a control of mapping curve done, but that didn't help. And finaly was something in the differentional breaking also. Nicke should open up rear axle and check what have happen.

carried out on our home track Bussjo
and Nicke is continue to
say this is a beast well trained. so mutch power and any way so nice to handle,
no surprices is given.
And it look like an
components is in harmony and no visible damaged or failure is discovered. So

that inform everybody that this car is using Etanol E85 as fuel in the
rearwindow.Some new rule is implemented for this.
During the test have Nicke
reduced the gear change rpm from the 8500 on previous engine 2400 cc of suction
model to 5500 on this one.
of record that one is now
in race engine's heaven after a conrod separated itself to many pcs at 8500 rpm.
Bits & pcs everywhere pcs was found on upper side of starter motor.
because of the torque is
calculated to be above 400 Nm in the range 2000-6000rpm, and power abt 250-280
kW this figures is when response system is activated.
So this weekend is the
first in 11 years during this journey with Volvo 850 5 cyl engine that
everything feel's to be GO for a whole race week. Engine is far away from
extreme output. Anders say we running in safe mode.
The car sound like a gas
turbine is coming driving to you from ahead and from rear is only gearbox and
driveshaft's strait cut gears screaming.
For me is it sad I am out
on my vessel, so I miss the event.

The new turbocharger and a new injection, ignition box is installed. And a handful of pressure and temp sensors,
for engine monitoring. The direct firecoils is also back.
1 adjustment have been carried out. Still is some parameters not perfect but they will be to next race.
Event took place on a airfield 70km from UMEA.
First test of acceleration 0-100 km/h done, time stoped at 4.8 sec.
So now is the plan to race at the swedish championship uphill-competition in Sundsvall 28-29 of june.

the start in the race this weekend is posponed due to brakedown of the turbo charger. Hoppfully can the start on kalix extreme event next week be possible. A new charger should be home on tuesday in best case senario.

long time no see
now is it moving again. nicke have been working on a new engine a 1999cc turbocharged one and was firied up last week locked good.
the only big problem was that the control box burned up sent for repair in maker shop "australia". So the old is installed again
the race debut will be on 2 week from now 7-8of june up in the swedish champion race on Piteå raceway. Please come and support us if possible.

Now have the first race been carried out. And the positive was the transmission and new desigined rear axel was good. BUT now was the power plant signin out.
We found aluminium on sparkplugs on cyl 3, 5 so at total engine failiure. On data log was found that the fuel was decreased for a couple of second and then a meltdown of piston is happen.
We have now started to build a new engine our No9.
But will it be 1999cc turbocharged or a 2550 "normal breathing engine" .
Will coming back with info about the setup of the engine
The new gearbox and rearend was above what Nicke expected. The car was going exacty in same was like he ordered.

Some new
Nicke have now shifted the rear axel and gearbox from alfa-romeo, volvo parts to a rainkin gearbox from a nascar car, and rear axel is now of the brand quick change.
mickes 2600cc engine
a new inlet cams is under manufacturing, this will give better respons acccording to our computer programs. the shifting rpm have been lifted from 8600 l/min on the 2400cc engine to 10000 l/min on this one. the new coolingwater program is written and tested. during the summer will a new drysump be manufacured.

now is race 3 and 4 done up in the city of Mojarv
race 3 on saturday was not a good one from our point of wiew, the shifting linkage down to gear box become lose.
race 4 saturday
we ended at 5 place in both race's and finaly did we take the checker flag in a race. wery nice feeling. Some adjustment was carried out with the chassi for better performace. And the crew from Team Tiger was wery helpful when adjustment was done, thanks.
Now on monday should some adjustments be done on the engine, when pistonring started do hold the combustion preasure in side the cylinders.

Hello again all of you
We are back in business again after almost 2 Year of disasters
we melted pistons and cylinderhead on engine no 7 last spring 2002, den was the shop Closed .
but nov is new parts designen and made
and finaly at 8 of march was the engine started up installed into Nickes chassi.
last Wednesday did he make the first test on ice, and it was okey the engine was responding almost like planed. also the new gearbox and transmission was behaving normal.
after the last race he did in stromsund 2001 with the turbocharged etanol drinking beast was nothing left of the Alfa Romeo gearbox he used before. now is a 4 shifted Getrag box connected to a Volvo axel installed in his chassi
And today is it the first race in the Swedish shampionship on ice also this in in the town of stromsund.
and the was making the final adjustment of the car at 2100 yesterday.

Now have the first race in the Swedish championship for car on ice been carryed out.
And this time have we installed a Volvo B21 turbocharged, etanol drinking beast, our 5cylinder engine cracked during runing on the testbed, and it will take abt 2 weeks to make a new cylinderhead. Our friends the Holmstrom brothers have builded the B21 engine. and when we found the cracks in our engine they was giving us the change to run with this monsterengine, it gives over 500 Nm at 5000 rpm. This race ended with total 3 broken driveshaft's for us but now is new ones under construction, so we will be back for the next race in Ostersund latter this month.

It have been a long time without uppdate on this page, sorry for that.
I (Micke) have been out and worked on the ocean's, and been home 12 weeks from april last year. The news regarding the team is that now is Anders Norberg A-Norberg Inovation, is responsible for the development of our engine's. And he have found many things that have been inproved and now are we not so far away from the preformance needed for be in the top of the our class. During this last year have new camshafts and cylinderheads been done. And the new engine is a beast be sure about that, data from the testbed is following. torge 305 Nm, output over 200 Kw all that in a wide range of prm.

DM-Final Pengfors Vannas
Nicke's gearbox braked down after 3,5 laps. Micke jumped to heavy over the 1:st crest on the track and it resulted in 1 broken luboil sump.
The Winners of this race is the same as last race in Pitea.

Result from the race in Pitea
The second race is over and our weekend was not so good.
Nicke had still problem with overheating of his engine but he came to the B-final and there finished on the 5-th place. After the race we noticed that he had twisted all the bults again and the connecting pieces on the flywheels only 1 bult was remaning to hold the driveshaft after the final. Back in our workshop we found that also the pinoin and wormwheel was damaged. So during this week 1 new gearbox is build.
For Micke the race ended after the 1 qualification round, heavey knocking from the engine was overheard. After dismantling we found that the connecting rod bearing was damaged and the connectingrods and the crankshaft needed some machineryworks.
So it ended building 1 new engine during this week. The engine was finished at 01:00 this morning.
The winners in the race was:
Supernationell KG-Lindkvist , Boliden and again it was David Forsberg, Pitea in FM 2400.

Finally the first race is over and the result was not so good for us. The Supernationell race was won by Ola.Stenvall, Skellefta and at FM 2400 by David.Forsberg, Pitea
Hopefully we will race next weekend at Pitea raceway.

On the first test of Nicke´s car the gearbox broke down - dismantling for repair. The drive shaft was also broken and the repairworks was finished at 04:00 the morning before the race.

A new engine is build to Nicke due to problem with ovality on cylinder liner no 2. Total overhaul for him is now 4 times.
We have changed enginebuilder because of problem with Mickes Motor, now all engine work is carried out by Bil & Trim i Umea AB and Umea Motorslip AB

The cars is back home after the brake system have been installed, and the assembley of the remaning parts is carried out. We will also probably not get ready for the 2 race in the championship this weekend.
